The lush, tropical Zuri Spice Garden is the perfect place for a stroll or meditation in any of the five different glades. Here you can also enjoy cooking classes with one of Zuri’s friendly chefs as you discover more about Swahili cooking in an authentic and interactive way.
Diving Centre
Zuri Zanzibar benefits from a fantastic location. The resort lies directly in front of Tumbatu Island (with its protected turtle-nesting zone), and close to the Mnemba atoll marine park – which are two of the best spots in Zanzibar for diving and snorkeling. The Zuri offers the latest in diving equipment for rental, books snorkeling and diving trips, and organises direct pick up at the resort. PADI certified courses are also available.
Wimbi Watersports Centre and Shop
The WIMBI Water Sports Centre offers equipment for snorkeling and various non-motorized water-sports. Wimbi’s instructors will be happy to arrange diving lessons, beach games (such as volleyball and petanque), as well as various different kids‘ games. You can also book a fabulous Dhow sunset cruise, a Ngalawa boat trip, and various different fishing trips through the centre.
Maua Spa
MAUA Wellness Spa has 3 massage rooms and a salon that offers a wide range of treatments (such as manicures, pedicures and facials) as well as a hairdresser. Zuri’s spa also has a Jacuzzi deck with sunbeds, which is a perfect place to relax with a nice cup of tea!
Yoga
Zuri offers yoga classes in a peaceful environment, with a magnificent ocean view… where you can take in one of Zanzibar’s famous sunrises or sunsets during your yoga lesson! Private lessons are also available upon request.
